Custom Products

Global Silicones, Inc. offers a considerable range of silicone products and services. This includes Research & Development of special application silicone rubber, Military specification material, Silicone additives, and high and low temperature silicones. Our team uses a variety of modern mixing techniques together with “good old fashion knowhow” to both create and produce compounds used for many specifications and applications. We use modern equipment to make our products, then, we use modern and certified calibrated testing equipment to ensure our products do what we say they will do. This is what our customers want, and this is what they get, every time.

Formulation

At Global Silicones, Inc. (GSI) we start our formulations with quality inputs. Immediate access to all major manufacturers of silicone bases, additives, and cure systems, allows us to formulate compounds specifically for your application, while saving you time and money. There is a cost associated with not having the right quality material, at the right time. GSI has provided this to our customers for over 25years. We have the ability to customize silicone rubber per our customer’s requirements. Do you need custom colors, different curing temperatures, or fluid resistant silicone? We have it. Or maybe you have a need for silicone rubber that can handle high or low temperature applications. GSI can help. Or maybe you are going to be molding or extruding your material, or perhaps calendaring your silicone. Our years of experience can help you, even if you’re not sure the type of silicone rubber you need. S-Series

Description: Our S-Series has a specific gravity of 1.21 to 1.44, and durometer of 50, 60, 70, and 80. It is used for shaft seals and O-ring applications. Post cure and no-post cure types are available.

G-Series

Description: The G-Series silicone products have a specific gravity of 1.15 to 1.42, and durometer of 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80. It is ideal for general purpose molded and extruded products. We recommended post curing for optimum results.

H-Series

Description: The H-Series has a specific gravity of 1.11 to 1.21, and durometer of 35, 50, and 70. You can use this for applications requiring toughness and high tensile and tear strength for molded or extruded parts. We recommended post curing for optimum results.

N-Series

Description: Our N-Series silicone has a specific gravity of 1.14 to 1.44, and durometer of 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80. This series does not have post-cure compounds for molded and extruded applications. You can achieve efficient results and low compression without post cure.

P-Series

Description: With the P-Series, there is a specific gravity of 1.10 to 1.22, and durometer of 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60. These are phenyl-based compounds for extreme low temperature applications. Our business recommends post curing for optimum properties.

C-Series

Description: The C-Series has a specific gravity of 1.16 to 1.20, and durometer of 50, 60, and 70.
Its semi-conductive compounds are suitable for molding or extruding. This series is used in applications where electrical conductivity is required.

F-Series

Description: Our F-Series has a specific gravity of 1.38 to 1.50, and durometer bases from 30 to 70.
Their Fluorosilicone compounds are perfect for molding, extruding, and calendaring. They offer thermal stability and outstanding resistance to fuels, oils, and solvents.

A-Series

Description: The A-Series has a specific gravity of 1.11 to 1.28, and durometer of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, and 85. These offer an additional cure (platinum—no byproducts) for molding and extruding. They have high tear strength, and can be used in food applications where FDA regulations apply.
