Established in 1993, Global Silicones, Inc. (GSI) has always had at its core value, Expectation and Quality. Our customers expect great quality in products and customer service, and GSI provides it. GSI is a full service custom silicone mixing firm, specializing in the mixing and color matching of high consistency silicone rubber, commonly known as HCR. We mix silicone for a variety of applications, which includes Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device, Construction, and more.
Our Company Mission is to provide outstanding customer care by offering consistent high quality products, on-time delivery, and competitive pricing. With a large and diverse inventory of high quality silicone bases, additives, and cure systems, GSI has the ability to offer expedient delivery of silicone compounds that meet a variety of material specifications. Our experts can provide technical expertise, utilizing years of combined knowledge in the silicone industry. We’ve been around for over 25 years and have addressed some of the most difficult specifications issued for silicone rubber.

GSI’s focus has always been to continually improve. Having achieved and maintained certifications to AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015, Global has proven our Quality Management System has met the challenge. When it comes to meeting customer expectations, our goal is to do our job so well that we are considered an extension of our customer’s operation.

Our Beginning

Founded in 1993, Global Silicones, Inc. (GSI) opened its doors to address two important needs for the silicone industry. One need is the ability to purchase small volumes of silicone compounds, while ramping up to larger volumes. This aspect is very critical for the small business owner. The second need was for faster turn-around times of ordered materials. GSI focused on meeting that need and still continues to do so today, averaging 4-7 days for most compounds. Though GSI has grown in ability to produce hundreds of thousands of pounds of material each year, we are always sensitive to the small businesses that need just a few pounds to get the job done.

Our Team

All of our employees are part of an ISO 9001-based continual training and education process that allows and promotes cutting-edge improvements to Global Silicones, Inc.'s operation. With involvement in organizations such as The Los Angeles Rubber Group, Inc. (TLARGI), ASTM, and the American Chemical Society, our specialists are able to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and innovations.
